First steps

Welcome to the Adlerka Space Program (ASP) team blog! This is our very first post, and we are excited to share our journey with you as we work on our CanSat project.

CAD design of the CanSat skeleton

Our first major step in this project is the physical construction of the CanSat. We have been busy working on the 3D CAD design of the CanSat skeleton, making sure it’s durable while having enough space for all the necessary parts.

3D printing timelapse fail

To bring our design to life, we have been utilizing a 3D printer to create the base of our CanSat. Watching the printer in action through a timelapse has been an exciting experience, although we have encountered some setbacks along the way. Failure is a part of the prototyping process, and we are learning valuable lessons from each misstep to improve our design.

Parachute test from an Adlerka balcony

As we continue to refine our 3D models and circuit designs, we have also worked on creating a parachute for our CanSat. The parachute is a critical component that will ensure a safe descent during the mission. From selecting the right materials to testing different designs, we are dedicated to developing a reliable parachute that meets our project requirements.

Stay tuned for more updates on our progress, challenges, and achievements as we work towards the successful completion of our CanSat project.
